Despite the unstable time during September 23rd, 24th & 25th the celebration did not stop.

As every year, the city of Barcelona presents great national and international talents in different scenaries around the city. This year the celebration lasted fewer days than usual, and at some times of the day, the bad weather did not allow some of the planned activities to take place. Nevertheless, this did not discourage people to attend the following days to enjoy the best shows.

Dance and acrobatics stood out this year. From amuse ones that entertained adults and children to the most emotional ones played with such a feeling that it was transmitted to everyone in the audience. Among them, one of the higlights was BCN City Ballet, a Project formed by the winners of the International Competition of Dansa Ciutat de Barcelona, a contest where dancers from around the world take part. Combining classical ballet and contemporary dance they offered a great quality performance that impressed the audience.

On the other hand, the music festival BAM presented all type of artists atracting music lovers from all kinds of genre. Manu Chao, David Moreti, Juan Magan were some of the artists that filled the enviroment of La Mercè with good vibes.

To finish the celebration, in spite of the small amount of people attending compared to previous years due to the rain, the closure ceremony took place with an amazing show of Fireworks dancing at the beat of French songs, celebrating the invited city, as well as Catalan songs representing the host city.

Definitely, one of the best celebrations that cannot be missed if you live in Barcelona , or come here to visit during September.
