The most awaited fashion show of Barcelona is here once again for Spring-Summer 2017 collection.

The 18th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion took place during the days of June 27th to July 1st unveiling the trends in colors, textures and innovation in design that will set the tone for the season Spring-Summer 2017.

The event took place at Instituto Nacional de Educación Física de Cataluña (INEFC), which was the perfect scenario to show better organization and more elegance compared to previous editions. From independent designers market, pieces exhibition made by Fashion Design students, moving forward the open area to relax with a cup of Anna de Codorniu´s champagne and taste the gastronomy variety from the different food trucks, each space could be enjoyed with no problem to share with the attendees and designers.

This year, colors such as yellow stood out on the catwalk, highlighted at the Lyle&Scott`s “Proudly British” collection; pink and beige at Rita Row´s “Frizz” collection; green and blue, also highlighted at its collection as well as in others such as Sita Murt`s and Josep Abril´s. Likewise, the classical color black was not left behind as it could be observed at Samuel Alarcón´s runway, who after being awarded with the “Creativity Award” during the ModaFad contest that took place in 080 Barcelona Fashion 2015, has been showing his work at this year´s edition as professional designer.

Regarding performance and accesories, Not Just Fashion Magazine had the pleasure to enjoy the break dance made at Edgar Carrascal´s catwalk as well as the collection presented by Blame Label, showing once again to go further the simple design with a performance that attracted with its concept “Indecisión” and the feeling of taking decisions when throwing a coin to the air. In terms of design, oversize and comfortable pieces stood out and sunglasses that caught our attention due to its simple but innovative design. It´s not hard to understand why he ended up winning the “Emerging Design Award”.

Regarding, “Best Collection Award”, Miquel Sulay was the lucky winner with a collection that played with textures, shapes and movement inspired by the avant-garde architect Zaha Hadid.
