After 5 successful weeks of our Model of the Week Contest, we decided it would be wonderful to organize the same contest with photographers. For this new nice project we count on an amazing partner: Vimity.com, powered by Production Paradise.com
What is Vimity.com?
Vimity is a creative network to connect professionals from around the world. International members share their creative talents by uploading their work to galleries. These galleries are then stylishly displayed in relevant visual media categories, which makes it easier for creative professionals to be seen and hired. The contest will be as fun as our Model of the Week Contest, giving eye visibility to the photographers with the possibility to win a wonderful trip to Cannes, French Riviera and to be the photographer of our editorial with the 2 model winners. See our Model of the Week Contest.
We will give soon some more information regarding the contest and prizes. The only thing we can tell you for now is the photographers will be chosen through their Vimity.com portfolios!

Nowadays, creative, photographers or all the people who want to showcase their visual work can use very nice tools on the Internet.
Among those tools, we highlight two very interesting websites. Even if they look the same, let’s compare them. Vimity.com or Behance.net?
How does it work?
Behance

Vimity

We can see that Vimity offers a wider view of the images, which is more interesting when you want to show your visual work.
How does it look on the Ipad?
We have the same portfolio on Behance and Vimity. Two findings: Vimity loads faster the picks and it fits much better the Ipad than Behance!
What about inserting a link?
Behance allows the insertion of links on a much simpler way and easy to use for neophytes. You can even choose the color of your link. For Vimity, you have to be a bit more as a software expert! Look at the picks below to compare.

As Behance is the worlds leading platform for creative professionals across all industries (exists since 2006), their statistics are much better than Vimity. Vimity is a young website (about one-year-old) with a fast-growing rate. Vimity will rapidly be a serious competitor of Behance.
Which one to use?
Don’t forget that Vimity and Behance are Social Medias. Most of professionals of the fashion & advertising industry are active on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin or Google+; Do they choose between one of them?
It is the same with Behance & Vimity! Don’t choose one of them, just use them both! This is the best way to reach a wider audience!
