Moritz Feed Dog Festival will take place on may 15th, 16th and 17th, the first fashion documentary film festival in Spain

Using the #lamodaescultura and far away from the luxury, the glamour and the fame are the films that will be projected promptly during the festival which has as main objective to offer a diverse programming of high cinematographic quality that represent the world of fashion as a cultural phenomenon in constant transformation since it is a simple reflection of the same changes on society.

The event is organized by In-Edit Producciones along with the renown fashion culture especialist in Spain, Charo Mora. According to an interview given by the expert, the programming tries to embrace different points of view of fashion. Those to who she gives them the name of “the mithology”, great designers that have created the most recognized brands; “the translators”, editors and photographers who communicate the way they interpret the industry; and so much more groups who show what is made on the streets, the trends of the past and the present and everything that is behind the making of all the clothing pieces we wear.

All of them are represented on the documentaries to be projected such as “Dior and I”, one of the most expected film of the festival in which the effort of the Dior fashion house team is shown along with the newly appointed creative director Raf Simons during the creation of his first haute-couture collection for the brand in only 8 weeks. The film was made under the direction of Frédéric Tcheng, the well-known director for the documentary called ¨The eyes has to travel¨ about one of the strongest influences on fashion editorial, Diana Vreeland.

On the festival, you will be able to enjoy other projections such as “Twiggy: the face of the 60`s”, about the famous english model of long lashes that revolutionized her era. “Fresh Dressed”, showing the style that walks around the streets in the hip-hop culture. “Iris”, about a curious and different character with the name of Iris Apfel, “a free bird who uses fashion as an instrument of expression” as Charo Mora commented, and who has been portrayed by the legendary director Albert Maysles before passing away.

The Aribau Club will be the stage for the festival and the tickets are already available on the website of Moritz Feed Dog.

Definitely, a complete festival with parallels activities and great expectations of succeeding by booking a thousand people movie theater for the day of the opening next may 14th.
