NJF TeamA rocktronik festival was held during the first edition of the Hard Rock Rising Festival in Barcelona.
On July 24th and 25th the Sant Adrià del Besòs beach filled up with rock and electronic music with great national and international stars. Only on the first day of the festival 15.000 people attended to enjoy a group of exceptional guests.
Among the national bands there were Vetusta Morla and Thalab who started the engines for the attendees and filled the environment of good alternative and electronic music. Additionally, the list of international artists could not be any better.
During the first day of the festival, the rock, funk and soul legend Lenny Kravitz gave a vibrant energy at stage together with his incredible band of musicians. His enthusiasm was so much that it took him down the stage to greet the audience that attended the event. Later, under a rain that gave a magical touch to the night, Kings of Leon went up the stage with a clean and very attractive visual display that made their style and each of their songs they played turn to life. Use somebody and Sex on Fire were some of the main songs sang by the fans of this band from Nashville, USA. The night closed with electronic music with one of the best DJ`s there is in the musical genre, Steve Angello. The visual performance and effects shot from the stage closed with a flourish a first day of musical success.
The second day of concert was not left behind. The latin rock flavor was brought by the Colombian Singer Juanes who performed his best hits such as A Dios le Pido and Tengo la Camisa Negra mainly greeting his Latin-American fellows among the audience. Next, anxiety and excitement could be felt on the people who were about to witness one of the best shows of the festival made by a real showman, Robbie Williams. Starting with Let me Entertain You the energy was felt from the first note. From singing happy birthday to a girl in the audience, explain his life in 30 seconds, take a girl up the stage, make Queen covers and sing a capella with a group of his band, Robbie Williams did not stop surprising with his special madness that kept everybody really entertained during the night. Finally, the closure was made by Avicii who, from a really high stage, displayed big screens all around him with attractive visuals together with his most sounded hits.
Definitely,a top festival with lots of organization and a real success on its first edition we expect repeats itself next year.
