Born in Munich and raised in Hamburg, photographer Jörg Schieferecke has worked in Paris and Germany as a photographer´s assistant before starting as a still-life photographer. He then decided to change his direction and has since concentrated on fashion photography. In 1996 he established his own studio based in the south of Germany.
