Talk to us about you.

How did you discover you wanted to be a fashion designer?

I´ve always wanted to be a fashion designer. And when I say always it means since I was a child. Though I had a hard time accepting it. The fashion industry is very competitive which is the reason I was afraid to enter into this world of glow and shadows. Before I started to study fashion design I started to study interior design. It is also one of my greatest passions. After months of classes and projects I realized that what I really wanted to do was studying fashion design. Sometimes it is hard to accept the reality but is the best I could do at the moment.

How would you define your style as a fashion designer?

I still haven´t found my style. It is something I am working on but I feel very inclined to the luxurious and haute-couture industry.

Who are your references of the fashion world?

There is always some aspect of the work I like from all designers. Marqués Almeida, Thomas Tait, Giambattista Balli, Coco Chanel.

What´s the name of the collection you present to us at the video?

For me, the collection was a personal experiment where I could express how I felt at the moment. That is why the name appeared in a very natural way, just “CRv”.

How many designs did you create for this collection?

The collection is formed by fifteen looks from which I made eight that are the ones seen at the video. I have papers and papers with designs. The creation process never ends, an idea leads to another. It is like a personal journey in which you personally evolve and develop.

What was your inspiration?

My greatest inspiration and aspiration in life is love. Al lis directed towards it and, in the case of the collection, it is a feeling of falling in love with life, with a person you don´t know, with a city.

What´s the story you want to tell with the designs created for this collection?

It is the idea of how a person feels. In this case, a woman when she is in love.

How long did it take you to make it?

The whole process took nine months, from the design to the last detail. The making took place during the last two months.

What materials did you use for the designs?

Mainly, I worked with transparent o r semi-transparent fabrics such as laces, tulles and organzas. I also used agate and fox fur for accessories. I wanted a collection with textures, overlays and contrasts.

What are your future projects and aspirations?

Since last year I live in London. I came with the intention of gaining experience and continue studying. I have dedicated this first year to work for several designers, meet the city and the industry.

In a few weeks I begin my college life again, something I am very excited to start.

Lost of success and we hope to hear more from you in the future.
