Originally from Spain, the elder of the Rosete Brothers wrote, directed and produced at the age of 21 his first 35mm short filmRevolution, which won more than 50 awards in International film festivals. Revolution was co-produced by Koldo Zuazua, renowned Spanish producer of filmmakers Julio Medem and Luiso Berdejo, who also produced Martin’s second 35mm endeavour, Our Daily Bread, starring award-wining actor Álex Angulo (Pan’s Labyrinth).

Martin studied Audiovisual Communication at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Actor Direction at the legendary San Antonio de los Baños International Film School in Cuba and was invited to attend the First Talent Campus of Berlin International Film Festival in 2004.

In 2007, after two years shooting commercials with his brother for Kamel Films, Martin moved to New York City with a full Scholarship from La Caixa to undertake his Master of Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy. He went on to direct the short films El Hombre Orquesta, Paper or Plastic and his most recent work, Basket Bronx, released by Canal + Spain. In the first nine months of distribution, Basket Bronx has been selected in more than 60 film festivals and won 20 international awards.
