ainsley-t, one the brands that participated in the Fashion & Fetish winter event, goes to the Nederlands Leder en Schoenen Museum – the Dutch Leather and ShoeMuseum – in Waalwijk, the Netherlands!
The Dutch Leather and Shoe Museum has asked ainsley-t to donate a pair of its luxury erotic shoes to the museum’s permanent collection. The Museum boasts 11.000 pieces in its collection of historic and unusual shoes going back to the 1300s. ainsley-t is honoured to enjoy the Museum’s recognition of its innovation in the areas where desire and footwear overlap.
To coincide with the donation, the Museum will be holding a mini-exhibition of the work of ainsley-t featuring their original designs such as the Plug Pump as well as new work which will be seen in public for the first time at the Shoe Museum. The museum and ainsley-t will be asking the public via Facebook and Twitter which of ainsley-t’s designs should be selected for the Museum. People will be able to make their choice of design and voting commences this week on www.ainsleyt.com
The mini-exhibition will open on 7 April and run until 18 May 2012.1/
