La Barceloneta
How to appoint Barcelona without mentioning its proximity to the sea? This area which belongs to the first district of the city, Ciutat Vella, was originally an island separated from the coast. With works made it joined the city creating a neighborhood of sailors and fishermen by excellence.
You can easily identify the place for the fresh fish smell, the sound of the waves of the Mediterranean Sea, the clothes hanging from the balconies and, of course, the large number of visitors, especially tourists in the summer, enjoying the alive atmosphere with artists singing at the edge of the beach and the various places to eat and drink while watching the sunset from its oldest and most famous beach, La Barceloneta.

Gothic
The historic city center is located in this neighborhood full of stories and mysteries to be discovered in the narrow and dark streets that define it. Surrounded by walls and Roman remains that founded the city of Barcino, you can also find the construction of churches and other buildings with the particular gothic style that was developed with the passage of time. Today, although it is easy to get lost among its streets, the walk is a constant discovery of history, design shops and particular bars.

Born
Looking for places with style, modern and trendy? El Born is the perfect neighborhood to find local classy different styles as well as the best art galleries. At the same time, its streets are full of stories of achievements and wars such as the Church of Santa Maria del Mar built during 55 years by the local people and the remains of a city disappeared from bombings that could be found at the Born Cultural Center.
Places to visit: Church of Santa Maria del Mar, Born Cultural Center, Picasso Museum, Chocolate Museum, Fossar de les Moreres, Palau de la Música, Santa Caterina´s Market.
Eixample
It is the second district of the city, consists of 6 large areas that have a high degree of representative monuments of Barcelona. It is for this reason that we decided to leave it as a complete area to walk. The epicenter of Catalan modernism and greatest tourist attractions are here. Unlike other districts, this is the area that has been developing with large buildings and wide streets with high commercial interests but at the same time, full of green spaces for families to enjoy. It is all said. It is a must to walk through it.
Places to visit: La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, La Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gràcia, Avenida Diagonal, Plaza las Glòries, Torre Agbar, Design Museum, Arco del Triunfo.
Gràcia
Like the Eixample, it is conformed by four neighborhoods characterized for being the most pro-independent quarter of all due to its history in which it spent several years as a separated population of the city district. In it you can observe many young people enjoying the bohemian atmosphere and the variety of bars and designer shops as well as old people that has lived there over a lifetime. The highlight of this district is the festival that takes place in mid-August in which the residents of each street join together to demonstrate their creativity decorating them with the ingenious use of recycled material. Definitely a tradition within a city that is worth living.
Places to visit: Park Guell, Casa Vicens, Plaza del Sol, Plaza de la Revolució.
