What would be a better way to spend a different Sunday than spending time with family and Friends surrounded by good music and recreative activities for all? The Piknic Electronik continues on the what-to-do-in-Barcelona agenda until the end of September.
This event that takes place all Sundays at the Joan Brossa Gardens of Montjüic had its origins in 2003 at Montreal with the objective of getting electronic music to everybody. Actually, Barcelona is the city in which they have launched internationally and is waiting to expand in other parts of the world.
The Piknic Electronik has activities for the little ones with elastics beds to jump in, sports, drawing workshops, gymkhanas and much more as well as for young and adults interested on discovering emerging designers and enjoy electronic music from national and international DJ´s.
On the other hand, there is a space of food trucks to delight the different tastes of the attendees to the event who like the trend of quality food street. It is important to highlight that the Piknic Electronik is an event with social and environmental awareness since they distribute the food that was not sold to the neighborhood´s social diners, hospital´s canteens, restaurants, etc. and promote the care for the surroundings where the event takes place.
